Orlando Creates | Concert & Mural Contest
CREATE - Each Wednesday will bring creatives of all kinds the opportunity to work amongst their peers in a live environment with live models and multiple set ups for visual artists. The idea is to bring artists back to a learning, collaborative environment similar to that of visual art schools minus all the rigidity. We will have music, coffee, wine, craft beer, and snacks all available on donation. The event is open to visual artists, writers and musicians alike. Anyone looking to exercise their creativity in a positive, open, live environment is welcome to attend. Event cost is at the door or free to HENAO Contemporary Center members.
CONCERT AND MURAL CONTEST - Last Wednesdays of each month will be a purely social event for creatives and fans alike. On that day we will host a concert and mural contest with 3 artists in competition. A winner will be selected from the three participating artists. The following month 3 new muralists will compete and a winner will be selected. For the third month the two winners will return and art fans will be able to vote for which one of the losing participants to bring back for a redemption shot at the quarterly prize. Prizes will be gift cards to art stores to help the artists continue creating. Each month will offer a smaller prize and materials for each mural contest will be provided by the Center. This event is at the door or free to HENAO Contemporary Center members.
