Traveling Abroad Workshop

Traveling Abroad Workshop
Greetings,
Congratulations, you're traveling abroad! As you prepare to take this journey to study, work, retire or volunteer, you will experience 'nobody told me or I didn't know' moments. These moments, which WILL come, may intimidate you or even compel you to change your mind about going.  If you still decide to take a leap of faith, these moments can add unnecessary stress during a time that should be exciting. PREPARATION IS KEY! Although each international experience is different, this Traveling Abroad Workshop will thoroughly prepare you, making your transition easier.  Some examples of 'nobody told me or I didn't know' moments are as follows; 1. In some countries, it is considered a bad omen to provide detailed arrival plans (i.e. address); therefore, many individuals may cancel their trip due to lack of information. 2. In order to work abroad, a work permit is needed which can take months to process. The majority of the time, you will not have the work permit before you enter the country, so what do you do? 3. Although the company may provide 100% healthcare insurance, some countries require you to pay for the procedure first (i.e. surgery), then you will be reimbursed. The Travel Abroad Workshop knows what questions to ask, has a global expat network & resources that will provide valuable information for your needs.

Embrace this amazing journey, because a new phase of your life is about to begin! Who is this workshop for? Full-time employees, teachers, government contractors, retirees, volunteers, and families preparing to work and or live outside of their home country.
