SEDVS Ecuador Internship Fundraiser Dinner
A group of super talented and passionate Master´s Students in Sustainable Energy Development from the University of Calgary will be visiting Ecuador, the most biodiverse country per square metre on the planet. Thirteen of us will be working with local stakeholders, academics and NGOs with the aim of improving and promoting energy efficiency, waste management systems and water conservation in three communities: the Amazon Rain Forest, the Pacific Cloud Forest in the western flank of the Andes, and Darwin´s natural laboratory, the Galapagos Islands. Additionally, we'll be working with local University and High School students to promote leadership and entrepreneurialism within the community to create lasting change and grass-roots development that encourages self-sufficiency. The event will begin at 6:00 PM with cocktails, dinner will start at 7:00 PM. Tickets cost each.
