By popular demand, D's Chef Diaries (DCD) returns to fill hearts with satisfaction and mouths with gratification. On this occasion, the pop up restaurant will be held in Long White Cloud, Hoxton. What you can expect from DCD is a fusion of African and Caribbean dishes carefully prepared. DCD has successfully teamed up with the splendid Hillery & Sons Rum Punch, to bring the exotic taste straight from the Islands, for you to enjoy with your meal. Join us on a Thursday night, with mouth-watering treats, setting you up for a great night out and excellent weekend. End your week with DCD's traditional Sunday Dinner, as we welcome you with a cocktail and a mix of Afro-Caribbean bites. You'll get a chance to mingle with other guests and meet the talented chef before you sit down to delight in a 4-course meal made by DCD. Our Menu Pre Starters (Platter to share) Gizdodo (gizzard and plantain), Ayamashe (green chilli sauce) (v), Ackee and saltfish and toasted carribean sweetbreads. Starter Jerk Honey Wings Fish Pepper Soup Jollof Quinoa Salad (V) Main Jerk Lamb with Jollof Rice and Fiery Slaw Stuffed Red Bream with Sweet Pottage and Plantain Soya Kebabs (with either Jollof rice or Sweet Pottage) Dessert Chin Chin Chocolate Cheesecake Mango and Papaya Sorbet For Your Information Meal Choices/Dietary Requirements As you book your tickets please email us your choices...once tickets are booked If you require any dietary adjustment. please send us details of what you require and we will adhere to your needs. Transport Info Long White Cloud has adequate transport links with Hoxton train station 5-8 mins walk from the venue as well as various buses that stop near the venue. Parking is free on the weekend and weekdays are free after 6:30pm. Ticket Policy Once tickets are purchased ticket are non-refundable. Please ensure you can make the event before purchasing. Also, please ensure you arrive at the start of event 6:30pm to ensure you receive the full experience by DCD. Welcoming glass of Rum punch by Hillery & Sons and nibbles will be served betwen 6:30pm-7:15pm Guest will be seated at 7:15pm If you arrive beyond this time we will accomadate you as efficently as possible. A 4 course meal is included in the ticket price.
